Cyclist suffers serious injuries in Boucherie Road crash

An 18-year-old man remains at Kelowna General Hospital after being struck by a vehicle on Boucherie Road Friday night.

West Kelowna RCMP were called to the 2000 block of Boucherie Road at 9:50 p.m. Friday after they received a report that a cyclist had been stuck.

When Mounties arrived on scene they located an 18–year-old man with serious injuries. He was transported to KGH, where he remains.

The driver of the vehicle that struck the cyclist was spoken to at the scene and is cooperating with RCMP.

A traffic analyst attended the scene and the matter has been taken over by Central Okanagan Traffic Services.

The investigation is ongoing.
