Drivers warned of icy road conditions in Kelowna

Watch out for slick roads around the Central Okanagan

Residents driving to work this morning are being reminded to have a good set of winter tires.

Those driving from Peachland to Kelowna this morning are reporting icy road conditions. Crashes were also reported around the Central Okanagan due to the slick roads.

Snow is in the forecast for Wednesday, as temperatures are expected to reach a high of -5 C.

Commuters travelling from Lake Country to Vernon also reported icy road conditions.

Treacherous road conditions were also reported yesterday due to the snowfall.
