Election 2014: Aaltonen, Gorman candidates in TaxpayersFirst slate

City of Kelowna: Aaltonen,Billie; Gorman, Michael running for seats on council

The TaxpayersFirst.ca slate for the Kelowna civic election has increased by two.

Along with Carol Gran, Dale Olson and Graeme James, now added to the slate are Billie Aaltonen and Michael Gorman.

The group were set to host a public meeting Tuesday night featuring guest speaker Jordan Bateman, director of the Canadian Taxpayers’ Federation.

Aaltonen works in the residential and commercial mortgage lending business.

Gorman works for Interior Health and has spent the past 30 years working for health programs that assist vulnerable citizens.
