Emergency preparedness for small businesses

PreparedBC is offering info to help businesses in the Central Okanagan deal with results of flooding

With recent flooding in the Central Okanagan, PreparedBC is encouraging small business owners who may be at risk to take precautions to protect themselves.

Depending on the size of the business, there many have employees that rely on it for income and stability.

With that in mind, PreparedBC is providing small businesses with the following information and emergency preparedness.

Disaster Financial Assistance:

The BC Government announced that Disaster Financial Assistance is available to Central Okanagan residents affected by the recent flooding. Applications must be submitted by August 5 to Emergency Management BC and are available online at: www.gov.bc.ca/disasterfinancialassistance
