Kelowna RCMP have little new to say about the discovery of a body of a man found dead inside a burning truck late Saturday night.
Other media reports indicate the police have identified who the deceased person is and they don’t suspect foul play.
The Monday morning media press conference has been cancelled and nothing new has been released about the incident this morning.
The man’s body was reportedly found by the Kelowna Fire Department when they arrived in response to a call of a burning vehicle.
Police were called in and a block of Casorso Road near Casorso Elementary School, from Barrera Road to Bechard Road, was cordoned off while an investigation of the scene was carried out.
Police have not yet released why the vehicle was on fire or what the cause of death was for the apparent lone occupant.
