Fresh powder welcomed at Big White

Significant weekend snowfall further enhances conditions at Kelowna area resorts

Skiers and snowboarders at Kelowna and area resorts are embracing another weekend with plenty of new snow.

At Big White, 18 cm of fresh stuff has fallen in the last 24 hours, while Silver Star has seen eight new cm of snow in the last 12 hours.

Sixty-seven runs and 12 lifts are running at Big White where the base has reached 122 cm.

All lifts and all but nine runs are open at Silver Star, with a base of 109 cm.
