Glenmore fire causes boil water notice for residents in area

The boil water notice will remain in effect until further notice while GEID crews complete system cleaning and repairs.

Due to actions associated with fighting the Scenic Road wildfire, the Glenmore Ellison Improvement District is issuing a boil water notice for customers in the Scenic Road area.

The boil water notice will remain in effect until further notice while GEID crews complete system cleaning and repairs.

Customers will be notified when the boil water notice is rescinded.

The boil water notice impacts customers on Scenic Road, Golfview, Sol Terra Ranch and College Heights areas.

Specific streets include: Appaloosa, Arab, Augusta, Bonn, Brenda, Clydesdale, Curtis, Denali, Galiano, Golfview, Grandview, Granville, Hollywood Rd. N, Longhill, Lougheed (west of railway tracks), Mail, Monford, Mustang, Neave, Newman, Packinghouse, Palmer, Pinto, Reyn, Reynolds, Ryder, Rifle, Rojem, Scenic, Sexsmith (both sides to Longhill Rd, north side only from Longhill Rd to railway tracks), Shetland, Silver, Walker.

This also includes customers on the east side of Snowsell Street between Henkel Road and Glenmore Road, and customers on the east side of Valley Road (south of Union Road) and both sides of Valley Road (north of Union Road).

This does not affect customers in the McKinley Landing area.
