Festivals Kelowna New Year's Eve event attracts 5

Good morning, Kelowna. We’re on the home stretch of 2016 and doesn’t that seem like good news?

1.) Anywhere from two to four centimetres of snow is expected to fall today, while temperatures stay steady at around – 1 C.

2.) While Big White is a winter wonderland right now, a Kelowna cinematographer has offered up some footage of all the growing number of off-season activities at the ski hill.

3.) Have you firmed up your NYE plans yet? Festivals Kelowna has expanded its offerings for its annual bash.

4.) They say it’s never too late to change… The head of McDonald’s Canada wants you to know one thing as the Golden Arches prepares to mark their golden anniversary.

“I will tell you straight out that the reputation we have for food is absolutely unfair, unrealistic and a total … fill in the blank,” says president and CEO John Betts, slamming his hand on a table during a recent interview.

5.) It took eight years of backbiting and pretending they got along for relations between President Barack Obama’s administration and Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s government to finally hit rock bottom.
