With a provincial election just around the corner, B.C. Liberals are in announcement mode, reminding Central Okanagan drivers of work done to improve Westside Road over the last eight years.
Currently, a 1.2 kilometres stretch, between Four Mile Creek and Waterfront Farms, north of the Westside Road interchange in West Kelowna is being widened and realigned.
But according to the ministry, over the last eight years, work on the road has included shoulder widening and pullout construction, plus over 30 km of resurfacing, realignment of curves, replacement of culverts and widening and realignment work.
