Potential hazardous leak closes gas station and two streets

A substance leaking from a boat had Bartley and Ross Roads closed for several hours on Sunday

Three fire engines and a Hazmat team responded to a call for a hazardous leak at a Petro Canada station on Ross and Bartley Roads in West Kelowna Sunday.

It’s believed a fuel leak from a boat being towed behind a truck around 12:30 p.m. presented a risk to the safety of those in the area.

Both roads and the gas station remained closed at of 3 p.m.
