Jumper cables ignite small car fire

Fire crews quickly put out a car fire in Rutland Wednesday afternoon

The misuse of jumper cables reportedly sparked a small car fire in Rutland Wednesday afternoon.

Fire crews were able to quickly knock down the blaze just after 2 p.m. at Franklyn Road and Badke Road.

One lane of Franklyn was blocked for a short period of time.

No one was injured.
