Fuller Avenue home raided for drugs, cops find cash and replica weapons stash too

Cops were combing through a Fuller Avenue home Thursday evening unearthing a stash of drugs, cash and what appeared to be very dangerous weapons.

Executing a search warrant at a home in the 800-block of Fuller Avenue shortly after 10 p.m., Kelowna RCMP Special Enforcement team seized various quantities of mushrooms, meth, heroin, marihuana and prescription pills.

Five replica firearms, cash and paraphernalia consistent with trafficking drugs were also taken from the home and two arrests made.

Michael Semchyshyn has been charged with multiple counts of possession for the purpose of trafficking and a 37-year-old woman faces a potential possession charge. She has been released on a promise to appear in court in February.

The firearms, two of which were modeled after sub-compact machine guns, were all determined to be pellet guns; but appeared very realistic until examined closely.

If you suspect drug activity, don’t investigate, contact your local police. Remain anonymous by calling Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477, online at or text to CRIMES (274637) ktown.
