Kelowna residents invited to watch Canucks in Rutland

Kelowna is getting in on the Stanley Cup final public viewing act. Fans who want to congregate to watch game four of the series will be able to join hundreds of others at the Rutland Centennial Hall Wednesday night.

Kelowna is getting in on the Stanley Cup final public viewing act. Fans who want to congregate to watch game four of the series will be able to join hundreds of others at the Rutland Centennial Hall Wednesday night.

The Rutland Park Society, which operates the hall and Rutland Centennial Park, has announced it will set up a big screen in the hall and throw the doors open to anyone who wants to go and watch.

There will be no admission charge and the event is being billed as family-friendly. Doors will open at 4:30 p.m. and the concession will be open.

Game four, to be played in Boston, is scheduled to start at 5 p.m. local time.
