Two women hopped out of their cars and decided to duke it out at a Glenmore intersection after engaging in a road rage series of events while traveling down Summit Drive from Dilworth Mountain.

The two women started scrapping at the intersection of Summit Drive and Valley Road, which police said followed a series of dangerous driving maneuvres in which each driver cut off the other, colliding with each other at least twice before both vehicles became disabled.

One of the combatants was an 18-year-old Kelowna woman,  driver of a red Suzuki Swift, who was treated at the scene by ambulance paramedics  for minor non-life threatening injuries.

The other was a 23-year-old Kelowna woman, driver of a blue Nissan Versa, who was arrested by police. She faces potential charges of assault and is expected to appear in provincial court on Oct. 6.

The Kelowna RCMP continue their investigation and ask for witnesses to come forward to police.

If you witnessed this series of incidents and have not yet spoken to police you are asked to contact the Kelowna RCMP at 250-762-3300.
