1. Today began with one of those heart-warming and happy ending rescues when emergency personnel rescued a dog trapped down a well. We were there as well and captured video and photos and wrote this story.

2. With Halloween nearly upon us and many events taking place this weekend, we wanted to compile all the events in one place, so we combined forces with our Black Press sister-papers in Vernon and Penticton to present this interactive map.

3. We’ve started our online recap of our favourite event of the year, our Community Leader Awards. Tonight we begin featuring each nominee and winner, beginning with the Community Leader of the Year Raghwa Gopal, the CEO of Accelerate Okanagan.
