Last chance to join Imagine Kelowna forum

Monday at noon is the deadline to apply to be selected for the forum on April 8.

The Imagine Kelowna Community Forum is scheduled for April 8.

Kelowna residents have until until Monday to let the ity know if they want to be part of the next phase of Imagine Kelowna, the city’s ongoing community-wide visioning project.

Noon on March 27 is the deadline to complete expressions of interest to be chosen to, and participate in, the city’s planned Imagine Kelowna Community Forum.

Approximately 150 citizens will be selected by a third-party research firm to participate in the forum, to take place at the Kelowna Yacht Club on April 8.

During the interactive day, forum participants will:

· Hear what the community has been saying about the opportunities and challenges

· Learn about global trends that will impact our community

· Hear from guest speakers and community leaders

· Enjoy delicious food and amazing views

· Be part of a legacy for future generations

Anyone interested in participating can learn more about the event and complete the expression of interest online.

A day camp at Parkinson Recreation Centre is being planned for children aged 6 to 12 years so family members can participate in the community forum. Registration details will be available after March 27 and follow-up will be occur shortly after with the randomly selected participants.
