Latin music to heat up Memorial Park

Cuban Fire hopes to set the Music in the Park stage ablaze with their performance this Friday in Memorial Park.

Cuban Fire hopes to set the Music in the Park stage ablaze with their performance this Friday in Memorial Park.

The award-winning trio of Cuban musicians has been delighting audiences for years with their catchy beats and professional style.

Talented kid Katia Wells-Green will get the crowd warmed up at 6:45 p.m. before Mount Boucherie Senior Secondary students Alex Tilley, Jamie Glutek and Ben Klick take over the stage at 7:15 p.m.

The headline act, Cuban Fire, will begin their set at 8:15 p.m.

Music in the Park concerts take place every Friday night from 6:45 to 9 p.m. through Aug. 30 in Memorial Park, adjacent to the Johnson Bentley Memorial Aquatic Centre.
