Okanagan residents are preparing to vote again.
Balloting runs between 6 a.m. Sunday and 9 p.m. Monday after Lumby made the final two Saturday for the Kraft Hockeyville title, along with Saint-Isidore, Que.
"We will have our job cut our for us. We need people to vote and keep voting," said Angie Clowry, one of the local campaign organizers.
Lumby has automatically won $100,000 for upgrades to Pat Duke Memorial Arena, but the voting Sunday and Monday will determine who wins the Hockeyville title and an NHL pre-season game.
"We're going to get everyone voting for us," said Mayor Kevin Acton, adding that while the money is good news, the hockey game will be a significant bonus.
"It's all about celebrating the community for doing such an awesome job."
People can vote for Lumby at KHV2016.ca on their home computers or phones or they can drop by Hockeyville central at the White Valley Community Centre Sunday and Monday.
"Anyone who is uncomfortable with a computer, we're happy to help them," said Clowry.
Computer access will also be available at the Downtown Internet Lounge in Vernon.
Clowry says Lumby has support from across Canada and around the world and that will be needed for the final vote.
A giant TV screen was set up at Pat Duke Arena Saturday so residents could watch Hockey Night In Canada and learn Lumby had gone from the top 10 to the final two.
"There were tons of people at the arena to watch it live. It was a great time to be together," said Clowry.
Acton is preparing to contact his counterpart in Saint-Isidore to see if a friendly wager can be set up.
"Maybe we can have a bit of fun with this," he said.
