A missing senior was quickly found in Kelowna Friday morning.

Around 5:30 a.m. on Nov. 17, the Kelowna RCMP were notified of a missing senior, 88-year-old Cliff Prebble. His family discovered he was missing around 4:30 a.m. from their family residence in the 200 block of Gerstmar Road in Rutland. The exact time he left was unclear.

Because of Prebble’s age and health concerns, the RCMP quickly started a search in the neighbourhood. During the search, the RCMP left one officer at the apartment building where Prebble lives in.

Eventually, Prebble was found safe in the apartment building, but not in his unit. It’s unclear if he was found in a hallway or someone else’s apartment.
