Mounties still looking for information that could shed light on Kelowna woman's death

Investigators continue to ask anyone with any information, regarding Rita’s time line for July 1, to come forward and speak to police.

RCMP continue to work closely with the BC Coroners Service as they investigate the suspicious death of Rita LeHockey.

“The investigation is ongoing at this time and the Kelowna RCMP General Investigation Section (GIS) continue to work closely with the BC Coroners Service,” said Const. Jesse O’Donaghey.

“An autopsy has been conducted, however investigators are still awaiting the toxicology results before classifying Rita’s death. Toxicology results could take a matter of days or up to several weeks."

Investigators continue to ask anyone with any information, regarding Rita’s time line for July 1, to come forward and speak to police.
