Another wildfire is burning in the Shuswap, this one northwest of Anglemont.
As of 7:30 p.m. Friday, July 7, the Vegetation Creek fire was spot-sized – .009 hectares – and classified as out of control. The fire was discovered around 4:45 p.m. and its cause had not yet been determined.
The 16.3-hectare Spapilum Creek wildfire burning at Adams Lake remained classified as being held.
