Okanagan College (OC) is hosting a series of open houses across the region.
The college will be open to anyone interested in programs and courses.
“Events like these are an excellent way to explore and experience OC first-hand, to get your questions answered, and to learn about programs, pathways, and supports available to students,” said Dr. Samantha Lenci, OC Provost and Vice President, Academic.
Applications for the 2024/2025 academic year are now open, and students looking to start sooner can also explore several courses and programs that begin this year.
Open House attendees can apply on the spot and have the application fee waived at the event. Potential students can also learn more and apply on the OC website.
“This event shines a light on the many options students have at the college. Our open house introduces students and families to the ways we will welcome them, work with them, and support them through their post-secondary experience and into careers,” said Alison Gibson, Dean of Community Engagement and Careers.
Open Houses:
- Tue. Mar. 5 - Salmon Arm campus 5 to 7 p.m.
- Mon. Mar. 11 - Vernon campus 5 to 7 p.m.
- Thur. Mar.14 - Penticton campus 5 to 6:30 p.m.
- Wed. Apr. 3 - Kelowna campus - 5 to 7 p.m.
“Whether you are stepping into a college classroom for the first time or are returning to education, this is a wonderful opportunity to get a sense of what awaits you at OC,” added Lenci.
