Pedestrian struck at Kelowna crosswalk

Emergency crews are on the scene near the intersection of Leckie and Dilworth in Kelowna, after reports of a pedestrian being struck at a crosswalk.

Traffic is backed up in both directions on Dilworth Drive and is being let through intermittently at the direction of a firefighter.

Initial reports are that a lone pedestrian was struck around 5:45 p.m. Monday. An ambulance was seen leaving with the area with its siren sounding just before 6 p.m.

The crosswalk is where the Okanagan Rail Trail crosses Dilworth.
