RCMP investigating theft of vehicles from Lake Country body shop

Two vehicles reported stolen from Lake Country Motor Sports

RCMP are investigating the theft of two vehicles from a Lake Country auto body shop over the weekend.

On Monday morning, Lake Country RCMP received a report of a break and enter and theft of two pick up trucks from Lake Country Motor Sports located on Glenmore Road. Police have learned that the suspect or suspects smashed a rear window to the business, reached in and stole two sets of keys from inside the business.

The suspect or suspects stole both a black 2011 Chevrolet Silverado with Vehicle Identification Number (VIN) 1GC4K1C85BF165951 and a black 2005 GMC Sierra pick up truck bearing BC licence plate DW6500 with VIN #1GTJK33245F826030.

Police are continuing to investigate this crime and are seeking the public’s assistance in identifying the suspect or suspects involved in this break in. If you live in the area and witnessed anything out of the ordinary over the weekend with respect to the Lake Country Motor Sports you are asked to contact police.
