TORONTO — After an 18-month battle with a rare, aggressive form of cancer, controversial former Toronto mayor Rob Ford has died.
The 46-year-old politician succumbed to complications from a fast-growing cancerous abdominal tumour known as pleomorphic liposarcoma, which was diagnosed in September 2014.
