Spring robberies lead to arrest

A 47-year-old Kelowna man has been arrested and remains in custody in connection with a series of robberies that occurred in June.

A 47-year-old Kelowna man has been arrested and remains in custody in connection with a series of robberies that occurred in June.

Kelowna Mounties arrested Kevin Leroy Kucheran Sept. 12.

Kucheran remains in custody and is scheduled to appear in court on Sept. 27.

The Kelowna man is charged with five counts of robbery, stemming from robberies at: Mission Park Mall Dollar Store (June 2), The Orient Restaurant on Pandosy Street (June 11), Subway on Pandosy Street (June 11), The Wardrobe Boutique on Pandosy Street (June 12) and Mission Park Mall Freeride Board and Sports (June 30).
