Emergency crews responded and traffic was backed up on Cooper Road in Kelowna after a two vehicle motor vehicle accident at noon hour on Friday.
The crash occurred between two of the busiest shopping areas in Kelowna on the second to last Friday before Christmas.
Traffic on the stretch was brought to a standstill.
The status of the drivers of the vehicles was unknown at the time of the accident.
Fire crews were on scene as the first responders to the accident.
