A huge plume of black smoke could be seen from around the region

Customers were trapped inside the West Kelowna CIBC while a pickup burned outside.

Firefighters were called the scene of a fully-involved pickup truck fire at about 4:30 p.m. Tuesday afternoon.

A woman who works at the bank told the Capital News a man came running into the bank yelling about the truck fire. The owner of the truck was reportedly inside at the time banking.

The truck was destroyed in the flames as well as the two motorbikes in the bed.
