RCMP say the man who was reported missing on December 19, 2016 has been located.

In a short release, RCMP confirmed that the 28 year old man reported missing has been located, and he is safe and sound. Thanks to the media and public for your assistance.

The Kelowna RCMP is pleased to confirm that the 28 year old man reported missing has been located, and he is safe and sound. Thanks to the media and public for your assistance.

Kelowna RCMP is requesting the public’s assistance in locating a missing Kelowna resident.

Benjamin Somerville was last in contact with his family on November 27, 2016.

Kelowna RCMP say there is nothing to indicate foul play at this time and police believe he is either in Kelowna or the South Okanagan area.

Police are very concerned for Benjamin Somerville’s health and well-being and friends and family report that it is out of character for him to be out of contact for this long.

Description of Benjamin Somerville:

•    Caucasian male;

•    28 years;

•    6 ft 3 in (191 cm);

•    260 lbs (118 kg);

•    brown hair;

•    brown eyes;

•    GMC Sierra Pickup

•    2005 Model

•    White in color
