Update: The two missing boys have been found by their parents.
A concerned parent is looking for her 14 year old son and 14 year old nephew to come home.
The youth, Levi and Lochlan McLeod, were last seen on July 7 at around 8 p.m.
They left a residence in West Kelowna and later contacted Levi’s mother by text to say that they would be back in a few days. When they didn’t return home the next day, she became concerned as this was out of character for both boys.
The pair were spotted at McDonald’s in West Kelowna the next morning, July 8, and the same mom received a text stating that they were alright, however, they would not reveal their location, causing further concern.
One of the boys has suffered from depression and the other is dealing with a recent family incident, which is why police are asking for the public’s help in locating them.
Levi is described as being five feet, eight inches tall with a slim build, short blond hair, blue eyes and glasses. He was last seen wearing a white T-shirt and blue jeans.
Lochlan is five feet, eight inches tall with a slim build and short brown hair and brown eyes. He was wearing a black T-shirt with a “misfit” logo on it and gray tight pants.
Both boys are skateboarders and could be at a skateboard park.
Police continue to check with the boys’ friends and search other places they have been known to frequent.
If anyone has information concerning their whereabouts, please call the West Kelowna RCMP at 250-768-2880.
