UPDATE: Shaw was located Tuesday thanks to media coverage.

Original story:

A 27-year-old man from Christina Lake, who was last seen in Kelowna, has gone missing.

Kelowna RCMP received a report Monday at 12:30 p.m. that Stephen Shaw failed to arrive in Chilliwack on a Greyhound bus for a scheduled meeting with his mother earlier in the day.

Mounties say Shaw had been living at a hotel in Kelowna but is originally from Christina Lake. He told his mother that he was going to Chilliwack, but he told his girlfriend that he wanted to go home.

Shaw doesn’t have a history of going missing and his family is concerned for his welfare and mental state.

He is a six-foot-tall, 180-pound Caucasian man with brown hair and brown eyes. He has a Grim Reaper tattoo on his left leg and a Canadian flag on his neck.

Anyone with information regarding the whereabouts of Stephen Shaw is asked to call Kelowna RCMP at 250-762-3300.
