Update: Missing West Kelowna woman located

A 20-year-old woman who went missing earlier this month has been located.

Update (8 a.m. Wednesday):
According to Kelowna RCMP Const. Kris Clark, Murajko has been located.

A 20-year-old West Kelowna woman who hasn’t been home in over a month, fell out of contact with her family last week and has been reported missing.

Charlotte Murajko has not stayed at her family home in the 1500-block of McNaughton Road in over a month, but was in regular contact with her parents by telephone until last Friday. The last anyone has heard from Murajko was on Dec. 7 at 1:00 p.m.

Murajko suffers from a condition requiring regular medication and has been known to struggle with drug and alcohol addiction. It is unusual for her to not have contact with her family for more than a few days.

Her family is concerned for her health as she may not have her medication which could lead to serious illness.

The missing woman is described as:

Caucasian

5’8″ and 110lbs

Slim build

Long, straight brown hair

Green eyes

Anyone with any information regarding the whereabouts of Charlotte Murajko is asked to call the West Kelowna RCMP at 250-768-2880.
