Six people taken to hospital in Thursday morning crash on Highway 97 in Lake Country

The crash occurred just after 7 a.m. at the Highway 97 and Oceola Road intersection

Six people were injured in a multi-vehicle car crash this morning in Lake Country, according to police.

The accident happened just after 7 a.m. and involved three vehicles at the intersection of Highway 97 and Oceola Road.

When police arrived at the scene they found six injured people, some of which were transported to the hospital for medical treatment.

The extent of the injuries are not known at this time as the people involved are still being assessed by medical staff.

Police said the investigation is still ongoing and the events leading up to the investigation are still to be determined.
