The Westbank First Nation is advising residents of its reservation No. 9 that they will need to conserve water between now and 7 a.m. tomorrow (Thursday, March 16) because of repairs that must be done to the reserve pump house.

AS part of the emergency conservation, all residents are asked to limit household usage of water for tonight and tomorrow morning.

Saying WFN Utilities staff will make every effort to perform the repairs to the pump house as quickly as possible, to ensure the water levels resume to normal.

The WFN is apologizing for any inconvenience caused by the sudden call to conserve water.
