It’s Earth Day at the Okanagan Heritage Museum.
Residents are encouraged to celebrate the day and think about what we can do to help the environment. Small steps by everyone can make a big difference.
The museum is unveiling its Biodiversity Zone offering a fresh look at our region’s grasslands, wetlands, aquatic habitats, forests and subalpine zones. A variety of animal specimens has been brought up from the storage vault. A selection of Okanagan insects from a recently donated collection will also be on display.
