Woman’s body found in burning West Kelowna home

Police are investigating after a body was discovered in a suspicious house fire.

Police are investigating after a body was discovered in a suspicious house fire.

On Nov. 4, 2015 at 1:47 a.m., West Kelowna RCMP and West Kelowna Fire Department were called to a house fire on Boucherie Road. Investigators located a woman’s body inside the house, said Cpl. Joe Duncan, in a press release.

Police are considering this fire suspicious and are continuing to investigate in conjunction with the BC Coroner Service.
