Adrian John Demmers

DEMMERS, ADRIAN JOHN

Jan 16, 1943 – March 28, 2012

With great sorrow we announce the passing of Adrian

at KGH Kelowna, with his loving wife and sister-in-law by

his side. Adrian is survived by his loving wife Trish, his daughter Tonia, son John (Michelle), grandsons Zac, Jake, Kiefer & Landon and his “better than average sister-in-law” Barb. At Ade’s request, there will be no service and in lieu of flowers a donation may be made in his name to your

local SPCA or charity of your choice.

Besides having worked for the Kelowna Daily Courier

and owning a Chrylser Marine Dealership, many people will remember Adrian best for starting up the first Ski & Sport Swap Store in Western Canada, the first one in Calgary and the 2nd store in Kelowna, which was located on

Pandosy Street for many years. He also drove Kelowna Transit Handi Bus for 19 years before retiring in 2009.

Many thanks to Dr. Jugnauth, Wayne Senner and their amazing team, all the ICU staff and volunteers.

A special thanks to Dr. Jan McIntosh for not only being a great family doctor but also a great friend.
