Anne (Anna) Klassen (nee Neudorf) passed away on April 19, 2018 at Kelowna General Hospital at the age of 75 years.
Anne is survived by Stanley, her husband of 53 years, children Jeff (Deborah), Les (Andrea) and Allison Jodi (Mikkel) Lund, grandchildren, Abigail, Spencer, Parker, Piper, Blake, Quinton, Sebastian and Kasper.
Predeceased by first born infant child Dorothy Joan, her mother Susan, her father Abram, and siblings John, Jake, and Dave.
Anne was passionate about helping others and had a special heart for children. She spent her professional career as a Registered Nurse specializing in paediatrics and renal dialysis.
Anne was an avid traveler. She visited most American States including her favourite, Hawaii. Mexico and Honduras were her most memorable destinations in Central America. Anne and Stan led multiple trips for groups to Europe including attending the Passion Play in Oberammergau, Germany.
Her pastimes also included serving as Chair of the Christian Women's Club and volunteering at children's sports events such as Alberta Summer Games.
A memorial service, officiated by Rev. Myron Siemens, will be held at 11:00 am on Friday April 27, 2018 at Everden Rust Funeral Chapel, 1910 Windsor Road.
In lieu of flowers memorial donations in Anne's name are gratefully accepted for the Christian Medical and Dental Society (towards efforts to oppose euthanasia) at 9A-1000 Windmill Rd. Dartmouth, NS B3B-1L7.
