Anne Stickney (Forsythe) of Kelowna, BC, passed away December 08, 2020 at the age of 82.
Anne was born to Marie and Mac Forsythe in hospital in Lloydminster, SK, although they lived in Alberta on the farm of her grandparents. In 1941, the family moved to BC, living in Ashcroft until 1949, then moving to Rutland the summer of that year.
After her schooling in Rutland and some years in BC and Alberta, Anne went to Australia, traveling and working there for 1-1/2 years. She also spent some time in Singapore.
During her marriage of 42 years in Alberta, she and her husband, Don, spent many summers RVing in Yukon and Alaska and some winters in Arizona.
Anne is survived by her daughter Joanne (Don) Ehrmantraut; grandchildren Derrick (Kyla), Andrea (Tyler); great-grandchildren Payton, Brynn, Lace, Roslyn & Mack; step-daughter Janet (Jock) Mackenzie, step-son Gary (Donna) Stickney, step-daughter Eleanor Bechthold; step-grandchildren Jeremy (Kirsten), Heather (Ian), Jennie (Chad), Brett (Ryan); step-great-grandchildren Avery, Emma, Emily; brothers Warren (Gail), Barrie (Mary), sisters-in-law Marilyn and Cathi, and, very special nephews and nieces.
Anne was predeceased by her parents, her loving husband Don (August 2017) and her brother Dale (2020).
