Barb Johnson of Kelowna, passed away peacefully in the Kelowna General Hospital with her family by her side on February 28th, 2018.
Predeceased by father Harley, mother Mary, brothers Marvin and Alvin. Survived by husband Lyle, son Brett (Marnie); daughter April (Shayne), grandchildren Mia, Aaron and Anthony; great grandchild Raelyn. brothers Dale (Pat), Blair (Joan); sisters Marlene, Faye (Ron) and many treasured nieces and nephews.
Barb fought an epic battle. Her fighting spirit never accepted defeat throughout this long journey. She always had a smile and never complained. Barb's upbeat and positive demeanour was infectious.
If you knew Barb, you would have on occasion experienced her tenacity for being bossy. She may not be here in person, but she is here in spirit, forever in our hearts. Take this time with your loved ones and make a toast to enduring friendships, lifelong and beyond. She had a special spot in her heart for each of you. Now you have a spot in your heart for her forever.
Barb is at peace on her next journey, one star in the night sky looking down upon us.

A Celebration of Barb's Life will be held from the Chapel of First Memorial Funeral Services, 1211 Sutherland Ave on Thursday, March 8th, 2018 at 11:00 am.
