RUDOLPH, Carol Donna
July 1, 1944 – November 21, 2009
It is with broken hearts that we announce the peaceful passing of Carol after a long and courageous battle with cancer. Carol was born in Edmonton Alberta, and spent most of her life in Delta, BC prior to retiring in Peachland, BC. She was a long time employee of the Bank of Nova Scotia but her true passion lied in her Weekenders business
where she was the “Queen of Sales” for many years.
Carol is lovingly remembered by her husband John, son Scott (Michele) Nazaruk, daughter Stacie (Stavros) Palivos, mother June Laking, sisters Diane (Trev) Cameron, Bev (Peter) Harvey, and brother Gary (Eunice) Hunter, grandchildren Madison, Olivia, Stefanos, Robyn, Kirby, Shawn, many nieces, nephews, her beloved pet Sadie, and countless loving friends.
Carol’s immense joy for life will never be forgotten nor could ever be replaced.
She had the most uplifting and positive spirit, the
greatest sense of humor, an infectious laugh, and lit up any room she entered. Her love of entertaining led to endless dinner parties, beautiful tables, amazing food and the greatest parties with family and friends. Carol will forever be in our hearts. We will miss you deeply and always love you. The family invites all her friends to attend a celebration of her life on Sunday, Nov. 29th at 2 pm, at the
Peachland Community Centre. The family would like to
extend a very heartfelt thank you to all the nurses, doctors and care givers that gave her amazing treatment.
A special thank you to the Cancer Clinic staff,
Hospice House staff, and home care nurses who enabled Carol to live with pride and dignity.
A donation in Carol’s memory may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or the Central Okanagan Hospice.
Funeral Service Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Hanson’s Arbor Westwood Funeral Chapel
