Age 67. It is with great sorrow that we announce the passing of David on Nov 1, 2008. He is survived by his mother Vida of Kelowna, his loving companion and special friend Joyce, son Scott (Leslie) of Stony Plain AB, daughters Susan (Albert) of Princeton BC, Cindy (Wayne) of Calgary AB, Maryanne (Bruce) of 100 Mile House BC, his brother Dennis (Shauneen) of Vernon BC, 1 niece, 1 nephew, 12 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. After working at the sawmill in Princeton for many years he moved to Kelowna where he worked for the Kelowna General Hospital before retiring to Midway BC. He enjoyed camping, hunting, hiking, stargazing, and just being outside looking the the beautiful scenery surrounding him in the wilderness of BC. In the non-camping season, he enjoyed puttering around in his little workshop and surfing the net all the while waiting for thesnow to melt off of his 5th wheel trailer. Hopefully the campsites that he constructed in the BC wildernesswillbe respected and enjoyed byeveryone who loves the outdoors as much as he did.
