Feb 28, 1938 - Feb 5, 2018
Lois passed away suddenly following a stroke on Feb. 5 with family members by her side.

She was born in Sydney, Nova Scotia in 1938, the spirited fourteenth child of John Michael Campbell and Margaret Dwyer. She grew up in Hay Cove on Cape Breton Island, N.S. with her fifteen brothers and sisters. She completed her training as a registered nurse in London, Ontario, and soon followed some of her sisters and her mother out West.

Lois met her husband Don while working as a nurse in Vancouver and they were married in 1963. They moved to Kelowna in 1986, and recently celebrated their fifty-fourth wedding anniversary. She was the devoted mother of four, grandmother of eighteen, and great grandmother of three.

She will be greatly missed by her daughter Laurel (Brian Dennison), grandchildren Rachel (Donald); Ben (Louise) and great-granddaughters Persephone and Alethea; Nicholas; Jacob (Kaatrina) and great-grandson Theodore; grandchildren Cecilia, Eleanor and Magnus Dennison; son Allen (Hayley), grandchildren Laurel and Colin; son Darryl (Kimberly), grandchildren Ryan, Ava, Audrey and Evelyn; and son Trevor (Kerry), and grandchildren Sally, Erik, Calla, Xander, and Maximus.

Lois loved golfing and spent more than twenty-five years walking Sunset Ranch Golf Course on Ladies' Day and a few other days a week. But more than anything, she fiercely loved her family.

Lois was greatly loved and will be missed by her surviving sisters Carmel, Cata, Regis, and Norah and her many, many nieces and nephews.
