It is with deep love and fond memories that we announce the sudden passing of our beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother, relative and friend, Erick Schultz. Erick passed away suddenly on May 18th at home in Salmon Arm, B. C. He was born on October 1, 1929 in Calmar, Alberta.
Predeceased by son, George Arthur (1957), and brothers Roy and Raymond. Survived by his wife of 57 years, Hilda; his children, David (Barbara) and Elaine (Bill) Johnston; grandchildren, Joel (Carla), Shawnda, Emily (Francis) Guy, Ellen, Corrie (John-Mark) Gibbons, and Danica; and great-grandchild Adelai.
Erick was a machinist, mechanic, and business owner who will be remembered for his kind, gentle manner and his caring and giving nature. His faith and commitment to his Lord and Saviour was evident in all that he did. He was a farmer at heart, who enjoyed hunting and fishing. He lived a full and happy life blessed by, and being a blessing to, his family and friends.
A Memorial Service will be held on Tuesday, May 24th at 1:00 p.m. at Shuswap Community Church. A time of fellowship and refreshments will follow.

Erick’s family wishes to thank the first responders, ambulance attendants, and RCMP officers who so kindly and professionally cared for him. We also wish to express our sincere, heartfelt gratitude to the many church and neighbourhood friends for their many kindnesses evidenced in thought and deed.
