On Dec 13, 2019 Ernst was called to be with his Lord, surrounded by his family he passed peacefully. Ernst will be lovingly remembered by his wife Karen and his children Heidi (Royce) Howay and Kim (Diana) Arend. Ernst will also be fondly remembered by his grandchildren Zachary and Jager Howay, Evan and Matthew Arend.
