In Loving Memory ~
It is with the heaviest of hearts to announce that our dear Ewa passed away on Sunday September 25 2022, in Wyoming at the age of 36.
Ewa is survived by her husband Hans, her parents Hanna and Chris, sisters Kasia and Angelica, nephews Gavin, Hunter and Ethan, niece Emily, brother in law James, her dog Rudy and extended family and friends in Poland, Alberta, Australia, USA and Kelowna.
Ewa was born July 10, 1986 in Edmonton AB but spent most of her childhood growing up on a farm in Kelowna. She was a happy child full of life and had the most beautiful infectious smile. She loved music and excelled in Highland Dancing, constantly bringing home medals and trophies. She graduated from KSS and completed the Business Administration program at Okanagan College.
Ewa spent the last 13 years in Wyoming USA next to Yellowstone National Park where she and her husband ran a business. They spent their winters in Texas and Arizona.
Ewa traveled with her family and shared many adventures including touching moon rock at the NASA Space Center, trips to Lake Coeur d'Alane, Galveston Island, Thermopolis Hot Springs, Jackson Hole, Corpus Christi, rafting on Shoshone River, Port Lavaca, Louisiana and many more.
Ewa was a kind and loving soul who was soft and gentle. She would always find the good in people. She loved animals like no other, especially her late dog Harley whom she rescued. Ewa's kind heart and empathy for others could be felt when she spoke about those she knew or had just met.
Although she was taken too soon, we know her spirit is still with us, to guide and comfort as we grieve.
You are missed, loved, remembered, and cherished in our hearts forever. You will forever be our sunshine.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the BC SPCA.
