Feb. 23rd, 1917 – Sept. 27th, 2010 It is with sadness that the family of Frances “Frankie” Dora Kuski announce the passing of their beloved sister, aunt, cousin, friend and neighbour. She passed peacefully into the arms of her Saviour at the Royal University Hospital in Saskatoon, survived by her siblings, Morgan Mollberg, Wally Mollberg (Donna), Beverley Preston (Tom), and many nieces and nephews. Frances was born in Little Woody, SK, the eldest of seven children, to Carl and Alice Mollberg. She grew up in Montana and Saskatchewan and worked on the family sheep ranch even as a little girl and helped raise her six brothers and sisters. Frances trained as a hair dresser and she ran her own salon in Radville, SK. She married Johnny, the love of her life, and they lived in Regina and Saskatoon. Frankie worked for Sears before retiring with John to Kelowna. Frankie had a gift with animals and had horses, budgies, cats, and her dear dog, Buffy. She was a Welcome Wagon hostess, as well as a member of the Sons of Norway. Her gifts and hobbies included sewing, baking, canning, golfing, bridge playing and being a friend to many. She was predeceased by her husband, John; siblings Vivian Doan, Dorris Wartman and Al Mollberg. A service will be held to celebrate her life at Caleb Manor, 1622B Acadia Dr. in Saskatoon on Sunday, October 10th at 3:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the S.P.C.A.
