Gail Berry, 80, of Kelowna B.C. went to be with her LORD on Feb 15th, 2019.
Born July 11, 1938 in Vancouver BC, daughter of the late Thomas and Doris (Goodrich) Fletcher.
She is predeceased by her husband of 30 years Edward "Ted" Berry who she met and fell in love with while completing her BSc in Agriculture at UBC, graduating in 1961 and marrying in 1962.
Gail was known for her sense of humour and contagious laughter, her faith in her God and her love and concern for her children and grandchildren. Her love of life, passion to help others and desire to stay active led her to be a busy, fun to be around and caring person. She enjoyed camping, fishing, swimming, biking, and travelling, spending time with friends, bible study, computing, gardening, singing with various choirs and walking her dog. She stayed home to raise her children but was very active in her local church. More recently she volunteered at her church, Christian Women's Club and at the Kelowna General Hospital and she was always available to help her friends with computer problems or compete at Canasta.
She will be missed by her brother Robert Fletcher (Lynne), children Tod Berry, Jacalyn (Berry) Davis (Grant), and Anthony Berry (Nikki Rose), her grandchildren Matthew Pusch and Edward Berry
A memorial service will be held Friday February 22 at 11 am at Evangel Tabernacle.
