Our beloved patriarch passed away after a brief illness on July 14, 2018.
He leaves his friend and wife Donna, their children: Gregory, Alan (Krista), Elise; his loving grandchildren, Claire and Marshall; his sibling Sister Marion Garneau.
We miss his fairness, generosity, humour, intellect and his unflappable spirit.
After teaching art for the Edmonton Separate School Board, he took his MFA. He then moved to Kelowna where he helped establish the Fine Arts Department at Okanagan University College. This became the foundation for the current UBCO program.
Jerry will be missed by his large extended family and many friends. A private family memorial was held.
