August 10, 1931 – July 28, 2022
“The Angel Lady”- Beloved Mom, Mor Mor, Sister and Friend, Gordis passed away peacefully in hospice with her daughter Connie by her side. She spent her last months as she had her many years, with a warm and loving attitude towards her family and close friends. In the end making sure no expression of love went unsaid.
Gordis emigrated to Canada from Denmark in the 50’s with her first husband, adopting their daughter and son and raising them in Prince George and Victoria, BC. She met and married John William Page in the mid 70’s. They lived in Sooke, retiring to White Rock and creating Gordis’s dream life of gardening and handwork with her great love John.
